“Piano recital Jorge Luis Prats is one big party” – Trouw
The charismatic Cuban master pianist Jorge Luis Prats is a unique storyteller behind the piano, a performer pur sang. Behind his charismatic appearance is an extremely well-practiced musician, with an enormous knowledge of theory, history and especially the personalities behind the composers. In addition to the music of Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert, Chopin, Liszt and Skrjabin, among others, Prats plays virtually the entire Spanish and Latin American repertoire—the music in which he undoubtedly excels.
