Saehyun Kim is still only at the very beginning of his international career. With his victory in the prestigious Long-Thibaud Competition 2025, he convincingly demonstrated why he is regarded as one of the great piano talents of his generation. At the piano, Kim stands out for his calmness, focus and natural ease. He does not seek to make grand gestures, but instead knows how to hold the audience’s attention through his concentration and personality.
He will make his Dutch debut at De Nieuwe Kerk, with the grand piano at the centre and the audience surrounding the pianist. This is a unique opportunity to discover a young pianist at such close quarters, just as his international career is taking off.
